Tuesday Update


After some trial and error, rigging is working quite well. I've got two horny scenes so far - a hand job and sex. I also have a framework for cycling through all the different scenes with escalating difficulty, climaxing on the one you fail to meet the target scores for. Everything seems to be on track there. Figuring out all the intricacies of automatic transitions between dates, the different behavior for a normal date and a horny date, etc. took some thinking.

I still want to draw a few more horny scenes, and I also need to draw a date background for the inside of Lexi's apartment.

I also redrew Lexi because here design in the horny scenes was straying pretty far from the original date portrait I did. I think it needs some refinement though, she comes across as rather dead-eyed. I did liven her up a bit with a breathing animation, which helped a bit.

I tried to use Godot's built-in sprite atlas generation to cut down on file sizes, but unfortunately I couldn't get it working right - it constantly cut off the sprites at the edges. So I had to drop that. I also couldn't make heads or tails of animation trees, so I just have two separate animation players for animations that can be run in parallel (e.g. blinking and breathing).

Tomorrow I want to see about adding one or two new cards to Lexi's repertoire (it's a bit boring if all she can use is allure), along with drawing a new sex scene.
