Monday Update


Today was a day for content!

I added 3 new photos for the cell phone (finally got to the NSFW ones) and chatter for more dates. I might redraw one of the CGIs though because it's very rough compared to the others. Also it turns out foreshortening is really tough.

I also made animations for upgrading and adding cards and for when Lexi plays an allure. I'm not so sure if I like how the allure animation looks though.

I did go ahead and add a shop for adding new [Mediocre]s to your deck, so you're no longer constrained to 15 cards. Maybe I should reduce the starting deck size to 10 as well? That might just be unnecessary padding though.

On the town front, I want to redo the map art more cleanly and add time-of-day lighting for morning, afternoon, and evening.

In total there will be 7 "regular" dates before the one where Lexi invites you to her place for some intimate relations.  The dialog and challenge levels for the dates are already done, but I still need to make background art and maybe a second outfit for Lexi. I also need to add proper hud elements showing your target stores and deck remaining count - right now it's just text labels in the corner.

The sex scene will play almost identically to the regular dates, but instead of going through your deck once and calling it a night, you'll go through your deck over and over with increasing challenge levels until you eventually can't meet the challenge. Each time you hit the target, it will switch to a new animation, progressing the encounter. This will be the most art-intensive part of the game.

One thing I'm torn about there is whether I want it to be an over the top multiple-orgasm experience with a climax each time you hit the target, or just a single climax at the end when you fail to hit the target. I'm torn because on the one hand I want it to be a big moment you're working up toward, but on the other it's weird that you achieve the climax through failure.
